I think she is taking even harder than I am :)
I love love LOVE Ava's infant seat.
I picked it out just for her while I was pregnant, it is all pink and girly, and perfect! I enjoyed seeing her cuddled up in it as a little tiny newborn. I've watched her grow, and adjusted the straps as she did, proof that one day we would have to let it go *sniff* I liked that she would fall asleep in the car & I could just pick her up and carry her into the house, still peacefully sleeping.
Obviously, it was hard for me to finally move her out of it and "get rid" of the beautiful baby seat. So, I waited as long as I could, then after I did the whole switching everyone's seats around...I brought it into the living room. And. it. still. sits. right. there.
And she still climbs into it, and snuggles down into her perfect little pink baby seat. Some days, she uses it as a stool to climb up and look out the window. Some days (like this morning) she uses as her own personal recliner, taking a book or "blank" (blanket) with her.
One of these days, Ava, the baby seat will have to go. And I thought I was only one who loved it so much, and would have a hard time seeing it go....
I wish I lived closer, I'd take it off your hands!
My kids both love sitting in infant car seats for some reason. I was tempted to keep our first infant seat for them to just play with...but I ended up giving it to a friend.

Oh, my goodness! I could just devour her little feet and toes. Laura is still in her carrier, at 13+ months. We bring it to the gym and the childcare ladies refer to it as her La-Z-Boy. lol
Right with you there in not wanting to let go.
Ava is a beauty.
