Still having contractions, but they are about 10 minutes apart now :(
I did not sleep well, and am feeling worn out. I am getting last minute stuff done (like the kiddos bags packed for Grandma's, etc) and plan to go to the mall later instead of sitting on my behind all day. Maybe the walking will speed things up again? I also want a new pair of tennis shoes and figured I might as well splurge now and look cute when I come home, right? LOL, as if cute shoes will matter when I am holding my NEW DAUGHTER!!!
I now wish I would have gone into L&D yesterday, but I am trying to avoid going in too soon, because I did that with the first two and ended up with pitocin, and would rather not have that again (but that was a different Dr). With Zander I was completely induced with cervidil, but was not in labor at all yet. I am not sure that the Dr's give that if you are already dialating & contracting?
I have a 9AM appt scheduled for tomorrow, and am anxious to see what I am dialated to now after all these contractions all weekend. I keep hoping & praying that if I do not end up in the hospital today that I'll go in tomorrow very dialated and he'll want to send me over to induce...a girl can dream right?
Look at how HUGE I am!! ------------------------->
My skin is stretched to the MAX and is actually sore at this point. I am covered in stretch marks, and SOOOO ready to wear something that actually covers my belly without my constant tugging up (pants) or down (my too short shirts). I have refused to buy anything new lately, so I am just ready to be out of my maternity stuff. I know wearing any jeans is going to take quite a while this time (I've gained ALOT), so that means nothing but comfy sweats for quite a while, but that sounds GREAT to me!
Sweats/tees & my cute new shoes :)
What a beautiful pregnant lady.
Seriously, soon you will look back and fondly remember being pregnant. Shoot, you may even wish you were still pregnant...or pregnant again.
Won't be long now!
