I've never been one of those *I hate Monday's type* but today I feel that way...just plain grumpy, tired & wishing it was Friday so I could start this weekend all over again  :(  Maybe it was the fact that Kaden started out Friday morning throwing up, or the fact that I ended up not feeling well (never did throw up, but nauseous ALL day) Saturday night & Sunday.  Today I am feeling a little better, but just tired & WORNOUT!

The kids & I worked on making thier Valentines today.  This is something we started last year (making our own) and they LOVE doing it!  Kaden helped to design his, picking text styles & everything.  Uh-oh, am I creating a digi-design addict like me, LOL??

TV talk

I just finished watching a show called Intervention on A&E, and I am just still in SHOCK!  I have never seen anything like it & I PRAY that I never do!  It was just horrible, everything about it.  The poor girl was an addict, her family was trying to help her & she has a daughter that she only sees once a week.  It was SO SAD :(  I hope that they show a follow-up sometime.  That is the problem with me, I HAVE to know that everything worked out.  I will add Kristen & Sadie (and the whole family) to my prayers tonight in hopes that thier lives can become "normal" again.  I just can not imagine walking a day in her shoes, and hope she gets the chance to start a new life! ** This is a REALITY show, so I am not crazy for worrying about the characters, LOL!!**

As I was looking for the link for above, I saw that it said Sunday @ 10pm!  Guess what!?!? Because the kids are off school tomorrow & I was visiting with a friend until about 8:30, I FORGOT this was Sunday!!  I am SOOO MAD ~ I missed Desperate Housewives AND Grey's Anatomy, which are both my favorites shows.  They were both the first NEW episodes too!!  GRRRRR....

We now have 2 sickies in the house :(   Ellie was not looking so good (red eyed & tired) when I went to her room to get her after church.  I could tell she was not feeling the best.  It was an hour or so later when she started complaining that her eyes hurt & they started getting yucky.    Yep, it looks like pink eye & she was running a fever of 101!  We'll see about it tomorrow though, because Zander's eye did that a week or so ago, then the next day his nose was runny (on the same side) so I just assumed it was the cold settling in his eye the day before!?  She just woke up a little bit ago & it was matted shut, so I bet it is pink-eye.  And yes, it is a holiday tomorrow, so I am unsure if the Dr will be open or not.  That blows the trip to COSI we were considering taking tomorrow *(sigh)*

Croup & pink-eye...what are the chances?  AND, Kaden fell asleep early & said his eye was feeling itchy before he went to bed *(ANOTHER sigh)*

Send me some Lysol...by the CASE please! 

An effer dare!?!

Well, I was in the scrapping mood & decided to finally jump in & try an effer dare ...WOOHOO!

You see, the thing is, most effer dare scraps that I have seen have been very unlike my final product, LMAO!  Most of the girls scrap some real from the heart, in your face kind-of things.....but NOPE, not me  :(    This week's dare (#18) was to scrap an OBJECT, and somehow I picked up on scrapping an OBJECT that you LOVE, and here it is (hides under blanket)....

I guess part of the whole effer things is being YOU...and this is very ME !

So, I guess maybe I did okay?  LOLOLOLOL :)

A sicky in the house :(

I think my lil' Zander has CROUP :(  Yesterday he woke up with the barky cough, but was feeling fine all day.  Last night, he WE did not get much sleep because his coughing would wake him up.  Knowing it was a dry cough, we started his vaporizer, and tried to get him to take drinks of water whenever he was awake.  I finally went in during one of the spells & decided to hold him, and ended up sleeping in Kaden's bottom trundle bed with him.  That is when I noticed him struggling to breathe a little too.  Poor guy!  He woke up wanting to play again this morning, but that only lasted an hour or so before the cranky/sick baby kicked in!  He has been coughing like crazy, so I've just been watching him closely.  I gave him some cough meds & laid him down to nap with a vaporizer, so hopefully he'll feel a little better when he wakes up.

I finally was able to complete my ad challenge layout & am very happy with it. It has been quite a while since I have done a montage style LO
