honesty time

Okay, I need to know why it is so hard for a Mom to confess that she is having a hard time?  Why do I feel like it is BAD for me to feel wornout & tired....and what on Earth makes me feel like I have to share it with everyone? (as if I feel like I have readers, LMAO)  I secretly hope that SOMEONE feels like this, that I am not all alone....and then in the same breath, I wish that NO ONE else is feeling like this!  Is this PMS, or what??

ANYWAY, today I picked up a book while shopping called "The worn out woman ~ when your life is full and your spirit is empty"  http://www.thewornoutwoman.com/   I am very excited about it & have decided to try to journal about things as I read them, as each chapter ends with some questions/thoughts.  I also bought a planner today, which is the first time EVER that I has so much stuff going on that I NEED a planner (lol).  I am also hoping that this helps me because right now I can not remember ANYTHING if it is not on my calendar.  I remember after having Zander, people talked about {mommy brain}.   Well, let me tell you, I do not even feel like I am working with that right now!

Sorry about the bummer post...but I feel a little better now that I got that out :)  WHEW!

YAY YAY YAY

I just got the call that we got the loan we were waiting on (WOOHOO)!!!  Now we can fix up the house to put it up for sale & MOVE...I really can not even explain the feeling of COMPLETE JOY I feel right now :)  We have been waiting for this for some time now & it just is SO exciting that it is happening for us now.  Deep breath, ahhhhh.....

I had a FUN night creating last night (finally)!  I had a gal e-mail me a few weeks age about a chicken kit, and I started a few papers, but never finished it...then yesterday I saw a layout made with a chicken kit :) and I went back to my "working on" files and started to finish it.  Come to find out, there were already 2 kits made for her....but I finished mine anyway :)

So, here it is

This is for an album I am making with some online friends from my birthclub (The Bookin Babes)! They are a GREAT bunch of gals & I am better for knowing them all!

Today I already let Kaden stay home from school :( he has been fighting a cold, and just seemed worse last night and today.  No fever or anything, just a yucky stuffy nose.  I felt guilty knowing he was not really very sick, but he has laid around all morning (which is SO not him) so I guess it is okay.  It is SO weird for me as a parent to have to call & tell someone else what I am doing with my child, then to feel guilty as if he is not sick enough!!  If it were preschool still, I would have kept him home yesterday as well...but Kindergarten, no way! LOL   He also missed soccer last night, but I did go & pick up the pics as a neighbor had told me they were ready.  I was SHOCKED to see the two of them like this...people always ask if they are twins, and I always thought that was a weird question (since they are 2 years apart) until I saw this:

Ahhhhhh.....

What a GREAT morning I just had! 

I know for some of you that have one child, this may make you think poor Zander is neglected (LOL) after reading this...but today we had such an AWESOME morning!!!   Zander & I sat on the floor and watched Teletubbies together and passed the ball back & forth, and played chase & tickle & giggled uncontrollably!  Can I just tell you how awesome it feels to FINALLY have time alone with him?  He is the sweetest thing, and the poor guy just gets plopped in the car seat, and dragged here or there...never complaining :)  So, today was much needed for the  two of us, it was so fun to just "play" and there was no one else trying to steal the ball, or his spot in my lap.  I think having my lap all to himself was his FAVORITE part...he just kept standing up & sitting back down like "ahhhhh, it's ALL MINE". 

I wish these times would never end, they just fill me up!!

Okay, so I do not have much to say, but wanted to share this pic :)  "The girls" went out this weekend & I LOVE this pic of us all together! 

Tonight I get to meet an online scrapping friend and I am SOOOOOOO excited, so I am sure there will be more pics tomorrow too.

As for the rest of the day, I plan to lay on the couch & try to rest off the cold that has been TRYING to catch me for the last week.  After a LATE night  Saturday, it finally caught me & I feel like CRAP :(

Maybe I will flip through my newest scrapping purchase.... Ali Edwards book "A Designer's Eye" which I LOVE LOVE LOVE!  She is awesome & so is her style/blog/book.  A friend of mine is going to a class taught by her & I am just waiting for her to come to Ohio too :)

Okay, off to the couch! 

A new kit...or two :)

I am hosting a crop on Friday, Sept 9th in honor of www.digiscrappin.biz GRAND RE-OPENING!

It will be held at 4PM EST in the chat room there & that day I am also donating ALL of my profits to Red Cross in honor of the victims of Katrina.  I made a cute lil mini-kit in honor of the chat...

And for posting in the digiscrappin gallery, I have also created some alpha sets & am working on some word art too! :)  After the crop, I will be placing this one up for sale...so come grab it while you can!  You will have fun chatting with the gals there too!  Hope to see you there

We  appreciate all that you can give & will even match the donations to BOTH of the kids funds! :)  I hope that by helping out they can learn how important it is to be there to support others in times like these.  I have always had a HUGE heart when it somes to this sort of thing (I think it is the 80's in me) and ALWAYS wish that I could do more.  Something that has really helpes me are my daily e-mails from  www.klove.com ,  just LOVE to open my mail & see something positve :)  This radio station has truly changed who I am!

Okay, I guess I better get some sleep, this new school schedule is killing me.  I can not do the late nights like I could in the summer :)    That is my favorite creating time too *(pout)*
