I wish I could say that I have not posted because we are busy enjoying our summer break, which I guess in part, is true. But the main reason is because we no longer have internet at home :( and as most of you know (assuming that my few blogging friends are still dropping by) that is a BIG deal. I've spent quite a lot of time on line since 2004 when I joined babycenter's July 04 message board (and met quite a few of you), and to be honest - I miss it terribly.
Like most families, we are being affected by the economy. Harry does not have alot of work, and the income he does make is just not enough right now. Something had to go. Unfortunately, it was what I loved the most - internet/cable. I am praying every day that things turn around for our family, and quickly. SUmmer break is just not the same without the escape of computer & tv - not just for me, but for the kids as well. We've been keeping busy, and I have been reading ALOT, but I feel so disconneccted. I used the computer for so much more than I realized - checking the weather is a big thing I did not even realize that I did nearly everyday. Looking up directions is something else I still run to the computer for, only to realize that it is not going to work...
Keep us in your prayers - pray for work for Harry, pray for peace through these hard times, pray for my sanity as I stay so "disconnected" from what is such a big part of my daily life.
Big hugs Angi.
And kudos to you and your hubby for making the sacrifices to make ends meet no matter how yucky they are. You are great parents and responsible adults. Many can learn from you.
**blowing work your way...only if it doesn't take from my hubby's work!**

Oh girl, I feel for you! And totally understand. What a great testimony to your kids that you're willing to make cuts to things you enjoy but need to cut for the budget. {{{hugs}}} to you. I'm definitely praying for this economy to turn around!

Prayers and more for calm and peace and $$$! ;) I'll be here when you're back; inspired by you, I know how it is for girls like us to 'turn off'. {hugs}

Angi I kept loggin on to your blog wondering if everything was ok.
I hope things get back to normal, I totally relate with what you're going thru, things are pretty similar around here. Hang in there, I'm sure things will get better for our families.
((Hugs))

Hugs from here, too, Angi. I agree with everyone above - it's a testament to your love for your kids that the two of you are making these types of sacrifices. My heart goes out to you and I'll pray for work, peace, and contentment in the midst of the difficulty. Hang tough!
